After stints tending bar at Commune, Commissary and Blue Fin, David Lombardo met Marc at Southwest NY and formed an instant friendship. When Murphy was tapped to become Chef at Chinoiserie, David joined him as Bar Manager and the rest is history. Since then, David has crafted his own wine education through tasting, reading and traveling to wine regions throughout Europe and the United States. His acumen is evident in the award-winning wine lists he curates for all of the Benchmarc restaurants.
